Saints Row IV: Re-Elected delivers an over-the-top open-world sandbox experience filled with superpowers, alien invasions, and chaotic weapons. While playing through the campaign normally offers plenty of fun, applying cheat codes allows players to unlock unlimited potential and reshape virtual Steelport. Knowing how to properly enter these codes ensures you can customize your gameplay without unexpected save issues.
How to Access and Enter Cheats in Saints Row Re-Elected
Entering cheat codes in Saints Row IV: Re-Elected is a straightforward process handled directly through the in-game menu. Players must pause the game, navigate to the Extras tab in the Hub menu, and select the Cheats option. From there, choosing Add Cheat brings up an on-screen keyboard where specific phrases can be typed to unlock various effects.
Once a code is successfully entered, it becomes stored in organized categories within your cheat list. Players must manually activate the desired option from the cheat menu to turn it on. It is important to remember that using any active cheat disables auto-saving and prevents players from earning achievements.
Essential Player and World Cheat Codes
Several popular cheats focus on boosting player stats or altering the surrounding open world. Typing the phrase cheese instantly grants the player $100,000 in cash for purchasing upgrades and items. Players can also enter goodygoody to instantly clear all police or alien notoriety whenever combat becomes too intense.
For movement and combat enhancements, runfast provides infinite sprint stamina so you can navigate the city without stopping. Entering goldengun enables one-hit kills against enemies, while unlockitall unlocks all available game upgrades. World modifiers like ascii change the graphics to text-based visuals, while mascot turns pedestrians into silly costumed characters.
Spawning Weapons, Superpowers, and Vehicles
Players looking for immediate firepower can input letsrock to obtain a full wheel of standard weapons instantly. To customize superpowers, codes such as superblast, superstomp, superbuff, and supertk grant specific elemental abilities immediately. Additionally, dlc_unlimited_ammo and dlc_unlimited_clip ensure your weapons never run dry during high-stakes battles.
Vehicle cheats allow players to summon specialized transport directly to their location. Codes like givehovertank spawn heavy alien armor, while givetrouble delivers an agile XOR hoverbike. Applying vroom prevents your current ride from taking any vehicle damage, making high-speed chases much easier.
Tips for Managing Saves and Achievements
Because activating cheat codes disables progress tracking and automatic saving, managing your save files carefully is crucial. Players should create a manual save file before enabling any cheat codes in a gameplay session. This practice allows you to enjoy unrestricted mayhem without permanently locking out mission progress or trophy unlocks on your primary save.
